The Dorimène wanted to create a contemporary bistro with a warm atmosphere both during the day and evenings. The obstacles? A load bearing wall that divided the space in two. We extended the long bar in order to link both areas, while creating different seating zones. The resulting ambiance fosters the feeling of a café with light materials and plants, as well as the ambiance of a bar as it darkens at night.
We planned the space by tying the design into the different architectural constraints such as the columns.
The high ceramic table and the concrete bench make it possible to transform one side of the space into an event room.
