With their family growing, our customers wanted to redesign their living space to add bedrooms and open up their first floor. We completely rethought the layout of the first floor and basement of this duplex, while preserving as much of its character as possible. The spaces were designed to be flexible and functional for family life in the city.

In the basement, we salvaged the stained-glass windows originally on the first floor to bring character and light into the private areas.
