Cassia Construction
In response to a request from a young Montreal family, the Roslyn project involved redesigning their home to optimize the space around the fireplace, while connecting the living spaces and reorganizing the upstairs bedrooms. To achieve harmony and fluidity between the rooms, openings were created and enlarged, establishing a visual and physical link between the kitchen and dining room, and continuity between the living room and fireplace. Upstairs, the bedroom was designed as a master suite, with a study area, bathroom and walk-in closet behind the bed.
The entrance and shower room have been linked to create a functional space for the whole family.
The new opening in the kitchen allows you to go back and forth between the dining room and the counter.
The various ways of entering the master bedroom offer a different way of living and wandering through the space day after day.
