Wishing to rethink their second floor plan by having the two bedrooms communicating through the bathroom, our clients decided to renovate and modernize their bathroom. The challenge ? Respecting and enhancing the architectural heritage of this wooden structure built in 1828. We used the exposed structure to divide the space by creating a wet and dry zones. Classic materials bring modern comfort to the space while blending perfectly with its history.
On the ground floor, a bookcase was created in the solarium. Once again, the desire was to bring out the structure of this space at the forefront of our design. This time, by having the column pass through our structure and inverting the diagonal of the bookcase.
