1200 Furnitecture

The client wanted to add a second bedroom to his condo for a home office/guest room. The constraint? To keep the ampleness of the open plan and the brightness of the apartment. We created the new room by using architectural furniture: a closed storage unit and a bookcase. The bookcase placed at an angle towards the open space, has a frosted glass panel that allows the light to penetrate. Finally, a large sliding door connects the two sections allowing for openness between the rooms.
